Solar Signal in the Number of Floods Recorded for the Tagus River Basin over the Last Millennium

Abstract

Recently, Benito et al. (2003) have created and analyzed a database using documentary flood data collected for the Tagus river basin (Central Spain). In this short contribution, the presence of the long-period cycles of solar activity in this data is analyzed.
