Abstract
The presence of interculturalmarriages and intimacy is clear and expandingin societies throughout the globe. Culturalgroups tend generally to have a more acceptingattitude toward couples that have chosen matesoutside their immediate ethnic or culturalidentity. The focus of this paper addressessome of the issues, challenges, andopportunities that exist as individuals choosepersons for intimacy or marriage beyond thecontinental divide. A pyramidal model isintroduced to assist the reader inunderstanding the framework upon which thismanuscript is based.
