Samenvatting

Multiparametrische MRI wordt snel een belangrijk diagnostisch middel voor de detectie van prostaatkanker. Laesies die gedetecteerd worden op de MRI moeten geëvalueerd worden met histologische biopten. MRI-geleide biopten zijn niet overal mogelijk en zijn tijdrovend, oncomfortabel en duur.
