The number of participants reported in the ActivPAL sample was incorrectly reported at 33; in fact, there were 31 ActivPAL participants.
The penultimate sentence of the “Results” subsection of the Abstract should therefore have stated: “A total of 31 residents participated in the activPAL study.”
The fifth and sixth sentences of subsection “3.3 ActivPAL sub-study” of the Results section should have stated: “The final participant sample consisted of 31 residents. Of those, 2 did not return their diaries, 2 did not complete the diary, 13 (42 %) partially completed the diary, and 14 (42 %) completed the diary in full.”.
This error has no effect on the conclusions drawn. Nevertheless, the authors apologise for any inconvenience.
