Abstract

In our technologically advancing world, silicon has become the foundation for a majority of the electronic products that we use everyday. From computers to hand-held devices to medical products, our lives basically revolve around silicon. New York is one of many states that has transformed silicon and silicon-based compounds into the commercial applications that we have incorporated into our lifestyle. In this paper, the presence of silicon in the great state of New York is reviewed.
