Samenvatting

Dit jaar was geweld tegen zorgprofessionals flink in het nieuws door de spraakmakende campagne van Stichting Ideële Reclame (SIRE). In de tv-spot werd geweld tegen ambulancepersoneel en ziekenhuismedewerkers veroordeeld met schokkende beelden. Dit gaf veel reactie uit de maatschappij en leverde zelfs een petitie op. De discussie betrof voornamelijk de misleidende cijfers en het feit dat er een dalende trend is in geweld tegen ambulancepersoneel.
