Samenvatting
Bij duizeligheid zoeken we vaak naar één onderliggende oorzaak: is het een hartritmestoornis, orthostase of is het evenwichtsorgaan ontregeld? Bij ouderen is deze aanpak minder zinvol omdat de duizeligheid vaak multifactorieel is. Ook is het een teken van kwetsbaarheid in het algemeen.
