SAMENVATTING

Dit artikel vormt een hoofdstuk uit het in november 2011 te verschijnen boek Protocollaire behandelingen voor volwassenen met psychische klachten onder redactie van Ger Keijsers, Agnes van Minnen en Kees Hoogduin. In dit hoofdstuk worden strategieën besproken om patiënten met een conversiestoornis te behandelen. Het hoofdbestanddeel van de behandeling bestaat uit een vorm van hypnose.

ABSTRACT

This article displays a chapter of the book Protocollaire behandelingen voor volwassenen met psychische klachten, edited by Ger Keijsers, Agnes van Minnen en Kees Hoogduin (available november 2011). In this chapter strategies are given to treat patients who suffer from conversion disorder. The main ingredient in their treatment is a form of hypnosis.
