Résumé
La philosophie analytique est ici considérée à son point de départ. Les conditions de l’expression sont vues comme synonymes de celles de la pensée. Une entreprise d’explicitation est à cette suite appliquée en retour à la méthode scientifique qui était auparavant le modèle. La distinction de la syntaxe et de la sémantique, commandée par l’analyse logique, est alors appliquée à l’ensemble des systèmes de représentation: oeuvre d’art, action humaine, esprit. Cette évolution montre un souci essentiel: l’instrument technique de la connaissance.
Abstract
This article focuses on the origins of analytical philosophy. It argues that the conditions under which it was thought out were similar to the conditions necessary for critical thinking — like the scientific inquiry that served as its model, analytical philosophy was based on the distinction between syntax and semantics. Resulting from logical analysis, this distinction was later essential to all systems of representation — works of art, human action, intellectual endeavours. This evolution reveals a major concern — the need for a technical tool for the critical mind.

Dieser Artikel betrachtet die analytische Philosophie an ihrem Ausgangspunkt, wo die Bedingungen des Ausdrucks mit jenen des Denkens gleichgesetzt wurden. Wie der wissenschaftlichen Methode, die ihr als Modell diente, lag der analytischen Philosophie die Unterscheidung von Syntax und Semantik zugrunde. Aus der logischen Analyse stammend, wurde diese Unterscheidung nach und nach auf die Gesamtheit der Wahrnehmungsschemata angewendet: Kunstwerk, soziales Handeln, Geist. Diese Entwicklung offenbart ein fundamentales Problem: das Erfordernis eines technischen Instruments der Erkenntnis.

La filosofía analítica se considera aquí desde su punto de partida. Las condiciones de expresión son vistas como sinónimos de las del pensamiento. Una iniciativa de explicitación se aplica así en respuesta al método científico que anteriormente constituía el modelo. La distinción entre la sintaxis y la semántica, dirigida por el análisis lógico, es aplicado progresivamente al conjunto de los sistemas de representación: obras de arte, acción humana, espíritu. Esta evolución muestra una preocupación esencial: el instrumento técnico del conocimiento.
