Abstract
The Dynesys system has the aim to treat symptomatic degenerative disc disease without arthrodesis. The first non fusion system was proposed in France in 1994. The Author describes philosophy, indication, results and complications. Available data show the Dynesys system is safe and effective in the treatment of DDD.
