Summary
Architecture and Theory in Education: A prognostic sketch
Architectural styles have often been either stimuli to or expressions of theoretical developments in science. The theory production of Education Science during the 20th century has tended to follow architectural innovation only hesitantly. In the future there is a chance that it will catch up again, driven by the forces of New Rationalism and the “empirical turn”.
