Abstract
This article presents a case example of inhouse consulting activities in large enterprises. Key topic is a discussion of change management processes and the way in which they are organized by a central unit within the organization. Needs and demands are accompanied by appropriate scientific context so that the case example may be seen as a link from research to corporate reality. Functions of a central unit “Learning Organization” are described based on identified need for consulting services and a number of scientific aspects of group dynamics and Social Identity Theory. The focus is set on observations and implementing experience from corporate practice.
