The authors note that due to a printer’s error, in the text immediately following Eq. (2a), ${\mathbf{F}(\mathbf{X}) = (\mathbf{f}(\mathbf{x}), \dots , \mathbf{f}(\mathbf{x}))}$ should have read ${\mathbf{F}(\mathbf{x}) = (\mathbf{f}(\mathbf{x}_1), \dots , \mathbf{f}(\mathbf{x}_N))}$.

They also note that, due to a change in notation during copy editing, the same notation $\mathbf{x}$ has inadvertently been used for the ($\textit{dN}$)-dimensional argument of $P$ and the $d$-dimensional argument of $p$; see for example Eq. (4) and the text immediately before it.
