Limit State of a Composite Three-Layered Cylindrical Shell under Internal Pressure

Strength of Materials Aims and scope

The method is proposed for determining the limit state of a cylindrical shell with the bottom considered as a three-dimensional body that is under internal pressure, has no damage and has local damage in the form of a crack. The problem is solved experimentally and by numerical and analytical method using the finite element technique.
