On the 55Mn NMR Echo Enhancement in Half-Metallic Heusler Compound NiMnSb in Applied Magnetic Fields

Abstract

The effect of NMR spin-echo enhancement of 55Mn nuclei arranged in domain walls of half-metallic Heusler compounds NiMnSb and NiMnSi in the applied direct-current (dc) magnetic field was observed and studied. The effect could be associated with the increase of spin-spin relaxation time at application of the outer dc magnetic field related to the rearrangement and disappearance of the domain wall structure in the half-metallic material.
