Fabrication of In2S3 film with octahedron structured via one-step hydrothermal method

  • Published:
Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Octahedra structured In2S3 films were synthesized via a facile one-step and non-template hydrothermal process using l-cysteine and glutathione as a capping agent. The impact of capping agents on the synthesis of the In2S3 films were studied. The morphology, structure and phase composition of the obtained In2S3 films were examined by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The optical property of the In2S3 films were also evaluated.
