Development of Mix Compositions for Façade-Ceramics Production from Raw Materials in Kazakhstan

  • Published:
Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Aluminosilicate rock used for façade ceramic is investigated. It is shown that shale, whose reserves in Southern Kazakhstan are significant, can be used effectively. The use of shale and refractory clay will make it possible to obtain clinker articles with water absorption < 7%. Such raw material has not been used before in the production of façade ceramic.
