  • CHEMMOTOLOGY
  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

The mechanism of formation and accumulation of high- and low-temperature deposits in internal combustion engine is studied. It is shown that acid number is an important index of engine oil quality, based on which the oil properties that affect the engine reliability can be predicted.
