The original version of this article unfortunately contained an error.
In the subsection “Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS),” under the subheading “(a) Method of examination (procedure, precautions, etc.),” the following part of the third sentence should be deleted: “Olympus, however, has been provided with the technology from Hitachi Aloka; therefore”. The third sentence in this subheading should read in its entirety as follows:
“It should be understood that their principles are generally equivalent.”
