After many years of editing the Review of World Economics/Weltwirtschaftliches Archiv, Harmen Lehment is stepping down from his role as managing editor, on account of his retirement from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy this year.

The stewardship of the journal has now passed on to a group of new editors: Paul Bergin of the University of California at Davis, Holger Görg of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Cedric Tille of the Graduate Institute at Geneva, and Gerald Willmann of Bielefeld University. They are assisted by an international Board of Associate Editors.

We are very grateful for Harmen’s success in placing the Review of World Economics as one of the top two journals in international economics, and we aim to build on this success. We also aim to broaden the scope of the Review to include explicitly work in theory as well as empirics.

To achieve this, we count on you, our readers and on your submissions.
