Zusammenfassung
Interpersonelle Schwierigkeiten, insbesondere Erfahrungen von Verlust und Zurückweisung, wurden in psychoanalytischen Depressionstheorien und der Bindungstheorie als wesentliche Faktoren für die Entstehung und Aufrechterhaltung der Depression beschrieben. Diese fanden jedoch in den letzten Jahrzehnten aufgrund eines psychopharmakologischen Schwerpunktes wenig Berücksichtigung in der Konzeptualisierung und Behandlung der Depression. Aktuell haben eine vermehrte Rezeption der Bindungsforschung in der Literatur und die Entwicklung des Konzepts der Mentalisierung interpersonelle und soziale Beeinträchtigungen wieder in den Blickpunkt gerückt. Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über bindungstheoretische und mentalisierungsbasierte Ansätze der Depression und stellt aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse vor. Die Konzepte werden anhand von Fallvignetten veranschaulicht.
Abstract
Interpersonal difficulties, especially experiences of loss and rejection, have been described as relevant contributing factors in the development and the sustainment of depression in psychoanalytic depression theories and attachment theory. Despite this, due to a psychopharmacological emphasis, interpersonal and social deficits have been considered only sparsely for the conceptualization and the treatment of depression. Recently, an increase in the reception of attachment research in the literature as well as the development of the concept of mentalization have led to a renewed focus on these interpersonal aspects. This article provides an overview about attachment- and mentalization-based approaches to depression and presents up-to-date research results. The concepts are illustrated by case vignettes.
