Sakroiliitis

Zusammenfassung

Die Spondyloarthritis ist die zweithäufigste rheumatische Krankheitsgruppe. Sie befällt die Wirbelsäule, das Sakroiliakalgelenk und die peripheren Gelenke. Der entzündlich-rheumatische Prozess an der Wirbelsäule tritt in Form einer Ostitis, Arthritis oder Enthesitis auf. Das Sakroiliakalgelenk ist als einziges Gelenk im menschlichen Körper sowohl mit einer hyalinknorpeligen und synovial ausgekleideten vorderen Gelenkhälfte als auch mit einer faserknorpeligen und bindegewebig verbundenen hinteren Gelenkhälfte ausgestattet. Die Sakroiliitis kann daher in einem Gelenk gleichzeitig die komplette Vielfalt der rheumatischen Wirbelsäulenentzündung aufweisen.

Abstract

Spondyloarthritis is the second most common group of rheumatic diseases, which can present as spondylitis, sacroillitis, or arthritis. Rheumatic inflammation of the axial skeleton can be observed as osteitis, arthritis, or enthesitis. The structure of the sacroiliac joint is complex—it is the only joint in the human body with both articular cartilage and synovial lining in the anterior part, and fibrocartilage and intervening fibrous tissue in the posterior joint space. Therefore, in sacroiliitis, all three manifestations of rheumatic inflammation, i.e., osteitis, arthritis, and enthesitis, can be observed separately or simultaneously within a single joint.
