Karl Peter Hadeler (16.10.1936–3.2.2017)
K.P. Hadeler was one of the Founding Editors of the Journal of Mathematical Biology. He and Simon Levin led the JMB as joint Editors in Chief for 25 years\(^\circ \) (from 1980 to 2004) and decisively shaped the journal.
A special issue in his memory is in preparation.
