Abstract
Disorders in which the body image is changed, offer the opportunity to analyse the complex coincidence of “Leib” and body, perceptions and affects, as well as pathological patterns of relationship and communication in a philosophical way. A conjunction between the “Neue Phänomenologie” and psychotherapy can enrich both disciplines.
