In this issue of the World Journal of Surgery, we are publishing a study from Australia on bullying in the sphere of surgical education. Following review, I asked two surgical educators of great prominence, one male and one female to comment upon this study. Not surprisingly—at least to me—their responses were remarkably congruent yet nuanced differently. I encourage you to read the study from Australia carefully, and reflect upon the culture of your workplace, as you read the commentaries by Drs. Sarr and Numann.
