We agree with Dr. Laor that MRI should supplant the use of CT for immediate postoperative spica evaluation and hope that sharing our step-by-step approach will encourage other departments to follow this algorithm [1]. We wish to thank Dr. Laor for her letter spotlighting two important earlier articles on spica MR imaging, which, unfortunately, due to space constraints for this type of article, we did not include in our final submission [2].
