Abstract

In this article, the authors present the implementation of an innovative, automated technological line of powder coating, in a company producing ventilation hoods. Technology of electropainting was applied in painting details, with the use of powder paints and preceding process of preparing details surface, based on innovative technical and technological solutions. By implementing an innovative, technological process of automatic powder coating line in a company, increases its competitiveness in the market, using the best techniques of production. As a result, the authors proposed a system of guaranteed power supply for the purpose of automated technological line of powder coating, which should provide, in case of electricity cut, guaranteed power supply in the form of uninterrupted power supply (UPS)—finish or continue technological operations. The authors determined the requirements of UPS system, together with the sources of accumulators, cooperating with this system. System of guaranteed power supply, using UPS ENERTRONIC I 3-3 with power 200 kVA was determined. Accumulator batteries cooperating with accepted UPS system were calculated and selected.
