Mr. Woulds received his degree in metallurgy from Battersea College, London and is a Fellow of the Institution of Metallurgists, currently serving as that Society's Chairman of the U.S. Region. Mr. Woulds has specialized in high-temperature alloy technology most recently as technical director for Certified Alloy Products, Long Beach, California where most of the work for the above article was performed. He is a member of The Metallurgical Society of AIME.
