Abstract
Existence of diurnal fluctuations at steady-state transcript level has been found for chloroplast-encoded genes psbA, psaA and rbcL in rice. Transcript levels are low in the morning, high in the noon and show a decline In the evening. The rhythm shows dampening with advancing age.
