Ein primärer, karzinomatoider Tumor (Mesothelioma) der Nebennieren mit sarkomatösen Metastasen

Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Karzinomatoide Tumoren der Nebennieren sind ziemlich selten, nur 21 Fälle sind beschrieben.

  2. 2.

    Der Gebrauch der Bezeichnungen “Karzinom” und “Sarkom” für Tumoren mesothelialen Ursprungs ist irreführend und dürfte besser durch den Namen Mesotheliom ersetzt werden.

  3. 3.

    Regressive Veränderungen in neugebildeten Geweben entsprechen relativen Verlusten der physiologischen Funktion und relativem Gewinn der formativen Eigenschaften.

  4. 4.

    Tumoren mesothelialer Abstammung können in dem Primärtumor und in ihren Metastasen Verschiedenheiten ihrer Typen zeigen, und diese Variationen sind eine Wiederholung in umgekehrter Richtung der verschiedenen Stadien der Entwicklung des Gewebes, in dem der Tumor entstand.

  5. 5.

    Der hier beschriebene Tumor ist ein bösartiges Mesotheliom mit epithelialem Charakter. (Mesothelioma malignum carcinomatoides.)
