Abstract
The conditions for the symmetry of the angular distributions of nuclear reactions leading to two members of an isospin multiplet are discussed. It is shown that the test of the symmetry of the angular distribution about 90° involves a test of the isospin symmetry of a specific decomposition of the nuclei and of the two members of the iso-multiplet participating in the rearrangement collision.
