II. Das Urinsyndrom Untersuchungsmethoden, Befunde, experimentelle Studien

Zusammenfassung

Nach einer kritischen Betrachtung der durch eigene Verfahren ergänzten oder erweiterten Methodik zur Porphyrinanalyse des Harnes wird unter Verwertung der einschlägigen Literatur und der Urinbefunde von 37 eigenen Porphyria cutanea tarda-Patienten ein Überblick über das Urinsyndrom dieser Porphyrie gegeben. Die Befunde werden in einer abschließenden Übersicht zusammengefaßt.

Weiterhin wird auf Möglichkeiten und Grenzen spektrophotometrischer Untersuchungen näher eingegangen und schließlich über Ausscheidungsuntersuchungen nach Gaben großer Dosen Hämatoporphyrin berichtet, bei denen sich eine weitgehende Speicherung dieses (unphysiologischen) Porphyrins beim Nichtporphyriker in der Haut, ein Zusammenhang zwischen der im Urin erreichbaren Konzentration und der Anzahl der Carboxylgruppen im Molekül und einige weitere Hinweise zur Pathogenese der Porphyria cutanea tarda ergaben.

Die Arbeit bildet den zweiten Teil einer zusammenfassenden Darstellung der späten Hautporphyrie, die durch einen Überblick über die Klinik eingeleitet wurde und durch Abhandlung des Porphyrinvorkommens in anderen Ausscheidungsprodukten sowie Organen, der Beziehungen zwischen Tarda und Licht, ihrer Ätiologie, Pathogenese und nosologischen Stellung abgeschlossen werden soll.
