Low Field ac Susceptibility and High Harmonics Studies in PbMo6S8 Polycrystalline Superconductor

Abstract

The ac susceptibility and high harmonic response of polycrystalline PbMo6S8 superconductor are measured in the presence of small ac excitation field and dc magnetic field applied on it. Our experimental results could be explained by the classical Bean critical state model, when the current does not depend on the field and even harmonics are not observed.
