Additional information
The main part of the material for this investigation was collected and primarily studied in Great Britain by the first mentioned author (here called B). The final work was carried out in Stockholm, at the Swedish Museum of Natural History. Here also new material was prepared from living sea stars delivered from the Biological Station Kristineberg (B and K). Material has also been collected at the Biological Station, Espegrend, Norway (K).
