Abstract

Gastrointestinal tuberculosis represents 1% of extrapulmonary tuberculoses and only sporadic cases of anal tuberculosis have been reported in the literature. We report four cases of tuberculous anal fistula compiled over a period of 11 years, occurred successively in three men and one woman in whom examination anatpathologic has led to the diagnosis. The evolution was favorable with medical and surgical treatment. This retrospective study aims to show the characteristics for the clinical management, diagnosis and treatment of anal fistulas tuberculosis.
