Interferon-α-induzierte Reaktivierung einer Sarkoidose bei einer Patientin mit chronischer Hepatitis C

Zusammenfassung

Die Datenlage zu Sarkoidosereaktivierungen unter Interferontherapie ist ungenügend. Wir berichten hier den Fall einer Patientin mit anamnestischer Sarkoidose vor mehr als 20 Jahren. Aufgrund einer chronischen Hepatitis C wurde eine zunächst unkomplizierte antivirale Therapie mit pegyliertem Interferon α und Ribavirin durchgeführt. Ab der 32. Therapiewoche kam es zu einer Sarkoidosereaktivierung. Die Weiterführung der antiviralen Kombinationstherapie in unveränderter Form erfolgte bis zur 48. Therapiewoche ohne systemische Gabe von Steroiden. Sechs Monate nach Therapieende befand sich die Sarkoidose in Remission und die Hepatitis C war ausgeheilt.

Abstract

The data on reactivation of sarcoidosis during treatment with interferon-alfa is unsatisfactory. We here report the case of a female patient with a history of sarcoidosis more than 20 years ago. Due to chronic hepatitis C the patient was treated with pegylated interferon-alfa and ribavirin. Beginning in the 32^nd week, the patient developed a reactivation of sarcoidosis. The antiviral therapy was continued until week 48 without administration of systemic steroids. Six month after the end of antiviral treatment the sarcoidosis was in remission and the hepatitis C was cured.
