Zusammenfassung

Radikale Therapieoptionen wie Prostatektomie und perkutane Bestrahlung, die vor allem bei multifokalen Tumoren eingesetzt werden, haben bislang kaum dazu beigetragen, die Überlebenszeit beim Prostatakarzinom zu verlängern. Möglicherweise helfen fokale Therapieansätze, eine Übertherapie zu vermeiden.
