Abstract

We report on a theoretical analysis and experimental observations on the statistical properties of light scattered from a rotating ground glass using a multichannel analyzer based photon correlator system. Analysis of data indicates that the linewidth of scattered radiation depends on the scattering angle, which contradicts evidence presented earlier by Estes et al. and others.
