About this book

The storage of electric energy depends on the capacity of the associated electrical components. The material's dielectric constant directly governs this capacity. Dielectric constants therefore gain renewed attention with the increasing need of saving, accumulating and delivering energy produced in the most various ways (wind energy, solar energy, feed-back energy etc.).
This supplementary volume contains static dielectric constants as a function of temperature, and - for the binary mixtures - as a function of composition.
The focus lies on non-electrolyte systems and pure and binary liquid mixtures at normal pressure.
