Abstract

(Z)-2-[3,3-Dimethyl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2Н)-ylidene]-N-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)acetamides react with ninhydrin at the β-carbon atom of the enamine and at the amide NH group.
