Abstract
New [ML(H2O)2] complexes (M = Co2+, Ni2+, or Cu2+; H2L = diphenylthiocarbazide) were synthesized and studied using IR and diffuse reflection electronic spectroscopy, magnetic chemistry, conductometry, and DTA. The metals were shown to coordinate L2–through nitrogen and sulfur atoms. The complex [CuL(H2O)2] is a dimer.
