Voor ondersteuning van e-healthinitiatieven trok VWS in 2016 20 miljoen euro uit. Met als doel veelbelovende innovaties sneller bij de patiënt te brengen. En juist dit doel heeft ook het HagaZiekenhuis voor ogen met het in januari geopende HagaInnovatieLab.
