Summary

Scrophularia sulaimanica S. A. Ahmad (Scrophulariaceae), a new species from the Hawraman Mountains of Kurdistan, Iraq is described, and its relationships to its nearest relatives are discussed. The diversity of the genus in Southwest Asia and Hawraman Mountains is discussed.
