A New Polyphenolic Glycoside from Scutellaria barbata

A new polyphenolic glycoside 1, together with three known compounds (2–4), was isolated from Scutellaria barbata by repeated column chromatography. Its structure was identified as 1-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(2R)-3-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-propanediol (1) by spectroscopic data (1H NMR, 13C NMR, HSQC, HMBC, and ORD) and chemical method.
