Abstract
The magnetic transport, and structural characterization has been performed for thin films of Nd3Co13B2 alloy. We showed that the transformation from the amorphous to crystalline state does not lead to the stoichiometric Nd3Co13B2 compound but rather to an alloy with a precipitation of the Co clusters. The crystallization process is verified by X-ray diffraction and resistivity measurements at elevated temperatures. The effect of the annealing time on the coercive field is investigated providing indirect information about the evolution of the magnetic anisotropy.
