Abstract

Researchers ought to publish their research articles in a scientific journal to get their work recognized. Publication of scientific research output is crucial for the dissemination of scientific information. But, they are confronted with variety of challenges in publishing their findings, even more when they are researchers from developing countries. I therefore in this paper wish to draw attention to the challenges faced by scientist from developing countries to document their work keeping my focus on one of the major criteria set by journals, i.e., inclusion of molecular tests and/or novelty which are in particular, discriminatory in constructing the knowledge base that emanates from developing countries.
