In the original publication of the article, under the result section, the expression “CR group, − 1.3 ± 2.4 mm/years; non-CR group 2.0 ± 3.6 mm/years; p < 0.01” was published incorrectly. The correct expression is “CR group, − 1.3 ± 2.4 mm/year; non-CR group 2.0 ± 3.6 mm/year; p < 0.01”.
Under the discussion section, the sentence “…In our study, the AAA expansion rate was related to the change of BMI or body fat; therefore…” should be read as “…In our study, the AAA expansion rate was related to the initial BMI or body fat, therefore…”
In addition, under the Limitations section, the sentence “…conclude the underling mechanism of protective effect on AAA of CR.” should read as “…conclude the underlying mechanism of protective effect on AAA of CR.”
Finally, in Table 2, the values of ΔIL-6 under the column head CR (n = 15) and non-CR (n = 25) was published incorrectly as “− 0.2 ± 1.4” and “− 0.4 ± 1.7”. The correct values are “0.4 ± 1.7” and “0.2 ± 1.4”.
