Unusual cause of persistent abdominal pain in a young girl: solid-pseudopapillary tumour of the pancreas (2006: 11b)

Abstract

A solid-pseudopapillary tumour, a rare disease of the pancreas, in a young woman is presented. Since treatment involves complete excision of the mass, an early diagnosis is crucial to allow the curative resection.
