Для правильного толковання сумсрсчных явлений важно знать соотнощение между высокой и низкой диффузней на вертикали наблюдений. Такое соотношение было определено тремя различными методами в пределах 1/5–1/10 при депрессии Солнца 10° ниже горизонта.
