John S. Lawrence is Professor of Philosophy at Morningside College; he is the author of The Electronic Scholar: A Guide to Academic Microcomputing (1984).

Malcolm Brown received his doctorate in German Studies from Stanford University in June 1985. He is currently working as a computer consultant for the Humanities at Stanford.
